Questions? We've Got Answers
I don't see any pricing, how much does an inspection cost?
We don't list prices because there's so much that goes into it. For instance: How many square feet is your home? How many stories is your home? Do you live in a condominium or duplex? Which services are you interested in? This is why we like to get some info and talk with you beforehand, so we can customize an inspection to fit your needs exactly.
How long does the inspection take?
Another good question. It all depends on how large the property is. A small condominium can take as little as two hours, where as a large home with lots of rooms can take upwards of 6 hours.
Do I have to be there for the inspection?
You don't have to be there, but being there for at least the last half hour of the inspection would be beneficial to both of us. That way if any issues arise, we can discuss them in person. If you can't be there, we understand, which is why we produce and easy to read and follow report, available online, that you and your agent can go over. We also would like a phone consultation with you to go over any questions you have about the report.
When will I get my report?
We will have your report ready by the next morning at 8 a.m. Our reports are viewable online, plus you can download and print them right from there as well. Click here to view a sample of our state of the art report
What training and certifications have you obtained?
I have taken classes and been certified by the ICA school for home inspectors, as well as adhere to the ASHI standards of practice and their continuing education requirements. Prior to inspecting I was trained in mold and radon remidiation, crawl space and basement encapsulation systems, plus was emloyed by a 24 hr. disaster response company for flood and fire damage. I have also recieved a degree as a proffesional photographer and web design.
